GIBRGOI harp 2018 colourThe Government launched the 'Getting Ireland Brexit Ready' public information campaign. The campaign is a further intensification of the Government’s preparedness and contingency planning, which was
initiated in advance of the UK’s referendum in June 2016.

As part of the campaign, public outreach events have begun to take place across the country. These outreach events showcase the extensive work of the Government’s agencies, including Enterprise Ireland, Bord Bia, Fáilte Ireland and Tourism Ireland. The events bring together this experience and expertise in a ‘one stop shop’ for citizens and businesses in particular. The opening event, on Friday 5 October in Cork, was very successful, with a large attendance and significant interest in the topics discussed.

The events will take place on the following dates:

  • NUI, Galway (ILAS, North Campus), Friday, 12 October;
  • Four Seasons, Monaghan, Friday, 19 October; and
  • Croke Park, Dublin, Thursday, 25 October.
