Carrickmacross has a vibrant Chamber of Commerce and Industry representing the concerns of businesses in Carrickmacross and surrounding areas. Carrickmacross Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a non affiliated chamber and currently has up on 150 members.

The Chamber has been in existence in Carrickmacross since 1976.

Previous Chamber presidents include Dessie Murnaghan, Murnaghan Hardware, Cathal Birdy, Birdy's News Agents. The Chamber presidency, treasurer and secretary rotate every 2 years.

The Chamber holds an AGM every year and from that a small committee is selected to meet on a monthly basis to deal with Chamber issues. All members are welcome to attend these meetings. Chamber Gift VouchersGift Vouchers

Carrickmacross Chamber of Commerce and Industry have operated a voucher scheme for a number of years. The vouchers entitle the bearer to access a wide range of goods and services (Supermarkets, Pubs, Hairdressers, Restaurants and Shops) in Carrickmacross. The vouchers are available all year round but are especially convenient and useful at Christmas time while keeping funds in the local economy, supporting local employment.
