Carrickmacross Chamber of Commerce and Industry vouchers are the ideal solution for many employers in the locality. They come in denominations of €10, €20 and €50 and are a convenient and tax efficient way of rewarding your employees throughout the year.
Under the Small Benefits Exemption Scheme, company directors and employees can receive a non-cash bonus of up to €500 in value on a completely tax free basis each year. Shop Local Gift Vouchers can assist you save money by taking advantage of the Government Small Benefit Exemption Scheme. Employers can save 56% on staff rewards now by giving employees a Shop Local Gift Voucher instead of cash. This has been increased from €250 to €500 this Christmas!

Meeting for Business Owners/Mangers
The Chamber of Commerce are holding a meeting for Business Owners/Mangers regarding our response to the proposed N2 Ardee to Castleblayney Road Scheme on Monday December 9th at 7pm in the Workhouse. Everyone welcome, make sure your opinion is heard. Submission deadline for this is 19th of December.

Public Consultation on the N2 Ardee to Castleblayney Road Scheme
Monaghan County Council is working in partnership with Louth County Council to upgrade a 32km section of the N2 National Primary Road between Ardee and Castleblayney. A public consultation will take place to get feedback on the Route Options.
Public information events are being held in the Nuremore Hotel, Carrickmacross on Tuesday the 5th November, in the Glencarn Hotel Castleblayney on Wednesday 6th November, and in Ardee Parish Centre on Thursday 7th November. Drop in between 2pm and 8pm each day to meet the project team, view the route options and find out how to make a submission.
